This yoga & acupuncture worksop is a part of our Wheel of the Year Yoga & Acupuncture Series. The Wheel of the Year celebrates the interwoven energies of the Moon and Sun cycles as we move through the seasons. Together the Wheel of the Year is made up of the 4 Solar Days and the 4 Fire Festivals - the Spring Equinox, Beltane, the Summer Solstice, Lamas, the Fall Equinox, Samhain, and the Winter Solstice. In this series, we use yoga & acupuncture to tap into these natural rhythms in order to bring these energies into our own beings.
Beltane marks the height of Spring and falls halfway between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice.
It is a time of growth and expansion - the seeds of the Spring Equinox have been planted and are starting to break free of their shells, bringing forth abundant life-force energy for creation and growth.
We will begin our workshop with meditation and intention setting. Our yoga flow will focus on harnessing this energy that is bursting forth all around us. We will engage in an invigorating, yet approachable-for-all, hatha yoga practice to awaken ourselves from the slumbers of winter. Following this body movement practice with acupuncture will deeply support our own bodies and minds to align with the abundance of Spring energy.
